Where's Benzmac?
I noticed that Benzmac hasn't been posting much lately.
A quick check on his posts shows that his last contribution was June 14. Have we lost him?

With the closing of MB Autowerks and the need to find a new job, he's been pretty busy.

Benzmac is working at MBS Motors in Duluth, GA.
That's where he was before MB Autowerks.

How much capital would it take to open a legitimate MB indy shop?

1989 300ce 129k ( facelifted front,updated tail lights, lowered suspension,bilstein sports, lorinser front spoiler, MOMO steering wheel, remus exhaust,stainless steel brake lines). (Gone) 1997 s320 154k (what a ride). Sold with 179k miles. Replaced with Hyundai Equus 1994 e320 Cabriolet 108k  1972 280se 4.5 153k Owned for 12 yrs, sorry I sold it [/SIGPIC]

I have just always been interested in cars. I think there could be a market for a good Mercedes indie in Greenville. There is only one M-B dealer in the entire Upstate of South Carolina... and this place is growing like crazy.
It is big BMW territory, however...so I am sure you would get some of that overflow if desired.
