Does the parts shop offer Redline oil and related products? If not, this would be a worthwhile product line to stock.

We do stock redline products. Is there something in particular you are looking for?

Hope this helps...Lee

Lou-
Just for you I added a new page to the site today that has all of our Red Line and Lubro Moly products listed. There's a link to it in the PartsShop Lobby.
Enjoy.

An interesting site, however there data on there oil seems to be lacking, and a quote from there site" Although our oil meets the diesel requirements, we suggest you use diesel oil" ( general statement) , I can not see how this would be true.

I'm wondering whether I should be using Redline Diesel Fuel Catalyst or the 85+ fuel additive in my '84 SD. I'm about halfway through a tank of the Diesel Fuel Catalyst (200 miles on a half a tank; love that diesel economy and range) and it's made a big difference in off-the-line throttle response already. The stuff really is a "tune-up in a bottle"...

A lot of the info on RedLine's web site is identical for both products, and they cost the same in PartsShop. If they are the same, I wonder why they make two different products. Has anyone researched this? Thanks in advance,

Robert-
My understanding is that the material MB uses to manufacture their engine blocks changed in 1985. Redline introduced the 85+ product to work more effectively with the 1985 and newer cars. I am also told that in reality the 85+ will work on the older MB's as well but, several people with older MB's have gotten great results with the Redline Diesel Fuel Catalyst and refuse to change. That's why we offer both products.
