We added a new forum to the Shop Forum. It's called "Factory Hot-Rods". There's been so much general discussion in the past about the E55, 500E, C36, C43, 6.9, etc that we decided to create a forum for it. If you need technical help or want to discuss performance enhancement then continue to use the Tech Help and Performance Paddock forums.
We are fortunate that one of our Shop Forum members who is the proud owner of a 2000 E55 volunteered to moderate this forum. Gary Barash, known as zrusny on the Shop Forum, can help answer questions about the E55 based on his personal experience. We're sure that several of the other "Factory Hot-Rod" owners will be more that happy to share their knowledge of their beast cars as well. Thanks zrusny! ------------------ Bill Wood - Webmaster MercedesShop.com, LLC [This message has been edited by Webmaster (edited 01-31-2000).] |

As a C36 owner I am glad to see a new forum devoted to these types of cars. One comment though, on the page that lists the forums why is it listed under feedback? I'm lucky I just happened to scroll down there and noticed it, usually I wont even look below the Tech Info/Support part of that page.... Is it just me or is it grouped in the wrong area?

You bring up a good point...
We were afraid that if we put it in Tech Help that it would be misleading. You still have to go to the Tech Help forum if you need help from Techs. Maybe we need a new category. Something like "Open Discussion". What do you think? ------------------ Bill Wood - Webmaster MercedesShop.com, LLC |
