Many ppl(including me)wants to chat with other members.
Therefore I created a ICQ ActiveList, but looks like no one's interested at all(I posted a message in Tech Forum)..... Anyways, if you still interested then here it is... Hello, It would be nice to have a chat... I am signed up with Yahoo! messenger (free) its pretty painless to download and install, and so far its worked fine for me, and is rather straightforward. If other members are also with Y-messenger they can find me as swzlshtick. See ya there! -Larry ------------------ 03/83 300D 07/73 280 |

Great...
Maybe give ICQ a try, too. It's instantaneous...and chat live with other members.... Hello again!
After doing a little searching, I found a place that hosts chats for free. If Webmaster Bill is interested I can email a link. The only downside that I can see, is that maybe a few forum posts may be lost if someone gets an answer to a question right away, however, for the though ones, and multiple input, a post is still the way to go (imho). Thanks for your time -Larry ------------------ 03/83 300D 07/73 280 |

One of the downsides to Chat vs the Shop Forum is that no record is kept of Chats and therefore there is no searchable database.
It's nice to be able to search the Shop Forum archives for information. ------------------ Bill Wood - Webmaster MercedesShop.com, LLC |

I agree that the search function as a large colorful button along side "Post New Topic" and "Post Reply" is a great idea! It maybe that a lot of new users seek answers without seeing the very obscure search link. Seems a lot of referrals to the link are necessary.
