This is frustrating . . .
I just placed an order with Fastlane becuase I want to support the people who are behind this forum. However, after I placed the order I was exploring around and came upon this thread about AllPartsExpress. I spot checked an item and found that it was about $14 or 11% less expensive with AllPartsExpress. Yet it appears that the order process, order form, data base and telephone number to Phil are the same, except for the prices. Do I have to check each item I am ordering in each window to find the best deal? Do I need to split my order if some parts are less with one company and some with the other? This feels like walking into a store and depending which cashier I go to, I pay a different price.
Respectfully, can someone explain how this sponsor is organized and how best to use the site. I would like to continue to support this site but this kind of stuff drives me away.

I'll do my best to answer your question... Yes, you do need to look at both stores and yes, you may need to split your order into 2 orders. The "best deal" will be found by simply contacting Lee via email or phone. That way he will do the shopping for you and report back with the best deal. He has access to numerous parts sources and can find just about anything. The 2 online catalogs only contain a small percentage of the parts we actually have available. The reason we have 2 separate parts stores is because the 2 catalogs are using different parts suppliers. Our contracts with some of our suppliers won't allow us to sell their parts on the same catalog and the same domain as their competitors' parts. We want to offer the best deals we can to our PeachParts members so we have multiple catalogs. You will often find different prices on the 2 catalogs because our costs are different on them. Sometimes one will be cheaper and sometimes the other. It varies by part. Hopefully, that all makes sense.

Thanks for explaining that. I never looked into it deeply enough to even raise the question.
