Do you like the new initial thread page?
I don't. It is too long and unwieldy. Hierarchy is important for organizing information, but someone has chosen to abandon the usual hierarchy. Each state should be a subforum, and not be visible on the front page. It reminds me of why I don't use Benz World.

if you're talking about how each state now shows up on the main forum page, then i agree, it is awful. when i first clicked on the site and saw it i thought there was a problem. i see no need for each state to be listed on the main page like that. way too much to scroll through. i was looking for the events section and through it had disappeared because of all the states being listed and the events being at the very bottom of the category.
it's WAY TOO MUCH to scroll through on the main page of a forum. two big thumbs down for the change. |

Such scroll. Much dislike.

I agree. I think the states thin should go away and just use regions.

i also just noticed that in the technical forum, the 'alternative fuels' and 'diesel performance tuning' are also now on the main page (and still in the diesel discussion forum, AT THE TOP).
more scrolling, more scrolling, more scrolling. YUCK. i don't mind the states being separate, just wish they were in their own main category that could be closed/opened to eliminate main page scrolling. i do like the regions too, since i live in an area that is surrounded by 5 states within an easy drive, so having to look in each individual surrounding state forum would become tedious.
