SL 129 Salvage yards?

Hi all
Was wondering if anybody out there knows of a salvage yard specializing in 129 parts, or of a yard that just happens to have many of them?

Not geographically conveinient, but Bills in So Cal, and A Professional in Orage CA both have lots of cars - all flavors. I've used them for my 76 450SL. Look for replies to my recent post on 107 yards for more details.

Do they have a website? I can't get out there, but I need a seat motor (one of six). Dealer quotes $350 for one!

Regarding your seat motor, did you take it out and test it? The reason I ask is because I thought that one was bad in my SL, but I took it out (those seats are heavy) It was the one in the back and it turned out to be jammed by the riser on the left side. After I freed it up and adjusted the stop it was fine. $350 is a lot for something that spins around huh? haha.

The rubber shaft is actually fractured. Motor is fine. Dealer doesn't have a part number for the shaft as it is sold as a unit.

Hey GBenz,
I called Park Place, I had to order an O2 Sensor for my SL, so I asked them about your seat problem, you are correct on that model the rubber part is part of the motor, with MBCA discount at Park Place first 10 days of the month your motor is either $100 or $140 depending on your VIN# range. Give Don a call at 214-526-8701. Good luck!
Brian
