Tyre size on 300SL

Hi,

I like to use the standard size i.e 225/55/16 but it seem that the size is not very popular in my place. Is it possible to use 225/60/16 tyres as this is readily available (S class standard size).

Any advise is appreciated.

Regards,

Regards,
No problems going up the 5mm to 60mm sidewalls, you can fit 70 series without fouling guards in that same profile. No appreciable difference in sidewall flex and they absorb bumps and potholes better due to the higher profile. Hope that helps.
