Mounting high mileage grille badge
Anybody with the 250,000km or 500,000km high mileage grille badge from Mercedes Benz, where on the grille of the SL/SEC, and how, would they be mounted?
 Does anyone have a picture of one on their car?

I've heard of some folks mounting it next to the rear license plate. On an SL, it makes sense to me...

I was thinking of that but I grew up with elderly Mercedes having grille badges
so I'd like to continue this tradition if possible

Looks like it , kinda hard to tell though .
They changed the badge a couple years ago , I like the older ones better as they look apropriate for the older cars...

There is a solution!
I have seen this done, and they make a mounting kit for it. It attached under the bumper, and fits the profile of the bumper, and the badge sits next to the grille.
