560SL wiper motor

I can't figure out how to get at the wiper motor. The motor is working (I can hear it) but the wipers aren't turning. I was washing the windsheild and while moving the wipers heard a ping as if an armiture had snapped off. I've tried to get at the motor but can't figure out how.

Well heres a picture of it. You anc see it looking under the drvers side dashboard The pedal in the picture is the parking brake. I have no Idea hoe to replace it, but you shoud be able to see whats broken here. Just turn it on and take a look.
