380SL Trunk Insulation Not Standard?

Just noticed that the underside of my '83 380SL lacks ANY trunk lid insulation whatsoever. Can't believe this is part of German engineering & quality, but maybe so. If this is standard, does anyone know of an aftermarket kit of pre-cut foam/insulation pieces that could be adhered to the underside of the trunk lid?

Yes there is no trunk insulation. Not that I care about trunk insulation but both of my 560SL's have small dents in the trunk from the inside, which I can only assume come from stuff like golf clubs in the trunk bouncing off the trunk lid when going over bumps. I did see an aftermarket kit for Pourche, not foam but a piece of plastic that shields the underside of the trunk. I will probably make something of my own if I cant find one. I'm more concerned about sielding the body work. If you want foam insulation you could cut up a hood pad. But if you find something let us know.
