Where does the O ring go on an injector??

I got the injectors out of my 560sl but someone enlighten me to where the O ring goes that had to be purchase along with the set??I see the ring that looks like a hat that goes on the injector but where does the O ring itself go.Is it under the plastic piece??Thanks for the help.

what year, determines the injector set up - Kjet or D jet?

1986 560sl round plastic piece with the side nozzel that fits on to the
suction tube.Does that just pull up and the green O ring is on the bottom??

Yes,got it.Thanks to all that helped me.I removed the injectors yesterday,also the plastic vacumn covers without breaking any and while
I was at it, took pictures for a step by step, for others who have not done this procedure.I will try and put in on the board today.Again thanks to all who helped.

orders 3 times so I can remember them.
