Recirculation switch 88 560SL.
My recirculation switch has three connectors at the back, but I can only find two vacuum lines to connect to. Where do they connect? I have not been able to find that info anywhere. Thanks.

click on the link referencing the center vents vacuum diagram will show you there are only two hoses that connect. they are labelled a, b, and c. the drawing should supply the rest.

Thanks!
Thank you RM. I had actually visited your site and downloaded your color coded diagram (as well as AC pictures). What I failed to realize is that S24 in the diagram is actually the recirculation switch. So now I know that I should connect to 2 & 3. If I may ask one more question on that diagram, I think I have figured all the colors except for "drt", is that "dark red"?
Thanks again. Jl |

Color Coded
Yesterday I found out that the Y34 is color coded, showing the two colors of the vacuum line just underneath the connector. That certainly makes it easier. I could no see the side connector (manifold vacuum), but I know it goes with the green-striped line. The "drt" line connecting the 42 & 43 pots is a pretty dark red, so maybe that is what d means.
Thanks a bunch guys. Jl |
