Live n Hattiesburg, MS, wondered if anyone has recommendations for a good MB mechanic in either sout Mississippi or Alabama or anywhere within 100 miles or so.

There is a guy off Highway 49 on the Gulfport line. His name is Peterman and has been working exclusively on Mercedes since the 50's. He's reasonable and honest. I don't know the number as I don't have a MS Coast phone book. He's the only one in the area I would let touch my vintage Mercedes.

Wow this thread is 2002. I know the original question was about Hattiesburg and last time through I just noticed (or never noticed before) a shop on the West side of US49 North side of Hattiesburg. Had a dozen or so MB's parked around. Didn't catch a name.
