Is anybody else is having the problem with forum search? I am getting "page cannot be display" error message when I do a search. But if I do a search with a single world, e.g. "mount", it works fine. It is having problem when you are searching with more than 1 words, e.g. "engine mount".
Thanks

Ran into the same problem - got around it by limiting the search to "titles only"
Here's what pops up for "motor mount" http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/search.php?searchid=10296

Yes, I'm having problems with "search". In addition to the complaint you've highlighted, when the little search window drops down it is very unstable. I have to be careful when entering a subject or the whole thing will disappear and I have to open it again.
At times, when I try to search I get a flag that the page I've requested cannot be viewed. I much prefer the old system where "search" took you to a separate page where you entered the subject of the search and then you had some options. After the new system was implemented, on one occasion I used the search button and was pleasantly surprised to find the old search system restored, but it was later removed much to my dismay. Thanks for asking. |

Tonight it refused to let me perform any searches!!
The flag keeps popping up telling me that the page is not available. When I click on the search button, sometimes it sends me to another page where I can enter the subject of my search, and have options, but at other times it will only allow me to enter the subject on the little drop down window under the search button. This is very frustrating because I never start a new thread until after I've spent time searching the archives. |
