What is this???

Found this switch under the dash of my TE. Looks like it has 2 settings.

That is the diagnostic module that turns the CHECK engine lamp on!
It spies on the fuel/electronic systems & if there is a problem, blink & you have check engine.

Thanks Doc. It seems to have a rheostat type knob on it. Is that for adjustments of some sort ?

BY turning the knob the computer dis-connects itself from the connector.

Kinda reminds me of the story about the kid that was born with a silver screw in his belly button. He was told early on to never remove it. Finally as he came of age of reason he couldn't deal with the burning curiousity anymore so he removed it and guess what? HIS ASS FELL OFF
