Mobile 1 synthetic good to use??

My mechanic now has an option for me to bring my own oil, so instead of him charging me $2.50/quart. I was thinking about bringing in Mobile 1 for my next oil change, prudent?? or should I just bring name brand oil ie. Pennzoil, Castrol, etc. Thanks in advance.
