Coolant level sensor replacement

1993 300D 2.5 Turbo, I would like to know if the sensor can be replaced without removing it from the inferior conexion to the cooling circuit. Please help.
Juan

Pretty easy fix. Drain the tank, with a squeeze type turkey baster (sp?) remove the wire, rotate the snap ring so you can get to it, remove the snapring, pull out the sensor, replace with a new one, re- install the snap ring and the wires. Top of the tank and go. DIY for abt. $30 bucks.
Have fun

Coolant level sensor replacement

Thank you for your help. The doubt I had, if there is room enough between the tank and the panel to introduce the new sensor. I see it can be replaced.
Thank you again
Juan
