1982 300CDT front left turn signal blinks rapidly (inside on instrument panel) but doesn't operate outside car. Rear turn signal functions properly both inside and outside vehicle. I replaced the front bulb - still doesn't work. Occationally front left headlight also cuts out. I'm thinking this may be a ground problem? If so, where would I look for the ground connection. Right front / rear turn signal work fine.

You might have a connector problem or bulb holder problem. Check for power on the wire, then trace from there.
