I just did a complete engine swap and im trying to get her started,
I had to order the new bosch primer pump, b/c the old one leaked. I think this could be my problem.
Anyway, i was cranking on her today, b/c someone said it took him a total of 4to5 minutes of cranking and a battery charge to get his started after a swap. After a few times of cranking her over, i began to hear the starter begin to slow, and i figured id need to put the charger on it, but first i checked the voltage... 26..7 VDC?? how could it be, i checked it yesterday and it was at 12.2 ?? i hadnt put the charger on it yet..? anyone know what this is??
Also, the GP light (i think) doesnt come on.. Is this the one that looks simular to a spring??
I voltage tested the GP's and i couldnt get anything, could this be contributing to no starting??
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
