Idle speed control unit, Black Box, 380 SE 1985

Can anyone help. I have a 380SE 1985. Idle speed is very high, 1500RPM. I've managed to pin it down to the idle speed control box. On the circuit board there are a couple of burned out components. Current is being supplied to the idle speed valve through the black wire but not returning to the black box. Momentarily earthing the green and black wire closes the valve and the idle reduces. The green and black wire has continuity to the box connector so wiring and valve are fine. My problem is that I can't find out what to replace the burned out components with.
Is there a wiring or circuit diagram available for this unit, or is it a case of buying a replacement unit (megabucks) all for the sake of a few transistors or whatever they are. Anyone had the same fault??, how did you fix it.
