190E Part number
In trying to fix a problem I have with my AC I was taking apart my dash on the PASS side. I noticed aprox 8 vac lines that run into this "black box" (part number 201 800 05 78). This seems to me to be the deal that controls the doors that open vents? It gets so hot you cannot touch it. It would seem to me that this part isn't suppose to get so hot? It has a couple of plugs for wires and as stated many vac lines.
The problem with my ac is the vents wont change, you can alter the amount of air that blows. However, the defrosts are HOT and the center vent is cool. None of the vents change position! PLEASE HELP! Thanks all. Scott |
