Fuel Line Pressure on 420 SEL

I would like to measure the fuel pressure on a 1989 420 SEL between the fuel distributor and the pressure regulator, to determine if there is a fuel delivery issue to the FD.

At idle, what should the pressure be? Also what is the correct thread to the connector leading to the FD from the pressure regulator for the meter?
