1969 engine
I have a 1969 Mercedes 220, gas 4 cylinder. The engine is bad. I found a 1970, 250, 6 cylinder straight engine. Can we use the 1970 engine on the 1969 car. Thanks

Sorry, I can't answer your question, but I will say the 250 is the best sounding engine Mercedes ever made. My family had a 1971 250C. When I hear a 250 engine, it still warms my soul.

Sure, but you'll need a bigger radiator.

The engine will fit into the area, however you will need a lot of parts from the 250 chassis to install. Also the front will be a LOW rider as the springs will be way too weak for the heavier engine.
