MB 350 SE 1974 difficult to start cold engine

Hi, I have problem with my 350 SE, it is almost impossible to start in the morning when the engine is cold. I have new spark plugs, distributor cap e t c. After spinning the starter for a while I have checked the spark plugs and they are really wet with petrol. If I try for about 10-15 minutes it will start and after some seconds it's running great.
It would be great if anyone has some ideas what I can do to make it work.
I live in Sweden so I'm not always up on the same hours that you are in USA, this is the reason for misspelling too. Best regards / Kare Ps. I have a 1970 Buick Skylark Convertible too but it's a car that runs very very fine. Ds.
