I believe the compressor number is either on the front plate (clutch) tag or on the rear above the speed sensor. Probably have to use a mirror to check this...

10P15C was used up to about 90, I think, so if you are earlier than 89, that's the one. Nice compressor so long as you don't run it dry of oil.

Yes, I do work (as a contractor) at GEAM Mt. Vernon. It is a HUGE plant by chemical plant standards, but I've seen bigger refineries. No GE plant that I know of in Evansville, though!

I meant Mt. Vernon which is short distance away from Evansville.

As I was reading my shop CD about the A/C unit, it appears to be this fender side is of "low pressure" or "suction" side. Could I understand this "low pressure" is still high enough to blow out? Or, there is a vacuum so the oil id from somewhere else?

I really appreciate all your help. I know it is kind annoying because I am asking one question after another.

Pressure with the AC on is about 30 psi, give or take a bit, and off around 75, so yes, it could leak out either side.

Usually the o-rings on the high side go first as it's much hotter over there, but both can fail.

The manifold also doesn't fit absolutely flat, so a leak on the high side could drip oil down onto the low side anwyay, depending on the angle of the compressor.
