Timing chain order of events

W126

I can't seem to logically figure out what is the best order of events to complete my timing chain install. I am replacing the chaing, guides and tensioner.

Tensioner has to be out for the cam sprockets to come off, right?

Thinking in this order. Please correct me where I'm wrong.

Remove old tensioner
Mark chain and cam sprockets
Remove left cam sprocket
Replace guides
Reinstall sprocket
Same for right side
Install new tensioner
Feed new chain through
