Benzmac HELP!!
When I pulled up to my office today I heard a slapping noise. Turns out it was the fan pulley wobbling so bad the backside of the fan was slapping the distributor housing. I have forgotten what held the whole assembly together once you get past the allen head bolts holding the fan on?? The backside of the fan pulley was eaten pretty badly, does the shop have these available and what else would you reccommend while I'm there?

I'll give it a try. Mine has 1 allen head bolt holding the fan to the pulley, 4 bolts holding the fan pulley to the bearing, then 5 bolts holding the fan pulley stand to the timing chain cover. Removing the stand requires some work on my car because a coolant pipe is bolted to the stand under the distributor, and the pipe itself kinda blocks access to one of the bolts into the timing chain cover.

I got the stand from a source other than the dealer for around $100.

Good luck,
Sixto
