alarm module 93 300E 3.2

Need to disconnect the module, the alarm keeps going off while driving.
Does anyone know the proper location of the module so I can disconnect the fnnn thing before my wife kills me.

Remove passenger's floormat. There's a black plastic "trap door" secured by one philips screw, up against the firewall. Underneath there's a box that says Becker on it. Unplug the connectors.

Well just updating this thread in case another poster has a similar problem that needs to disconnect the alarm.
If you unplug both connectors to the alarm module the car won't start, you have to jumper 1 and 16 terminals on the large connector to start the car. Other than that , It works. no more alarms.

Need a bit of assistance with "jumper" instruction

Hi there,

As luck would have it, we have been experiencing trouble with the alarm on our 1993 300E - fortunately, I found this forum!

Can you provide more instruction on how to "jumper 1 and 16 terminals" on the Becker connector?

Thanks a bunch!
Aly
