I have noticed several options for plugs for this car BUT the owners manual only lists one plug # which no one seems to be able to cross reference. Autozone has Bosch 4s and copper Bosch--are these ok or should there be only one plug and if so what is it?

The proper plug is neither of the above. It is a special Bosch Platinum.
F 8 DPP332 is a proper Bosch number. If you can't find it the get the plugs at MB under the MB number 004 159 19 03 26.
