I have a 91 300E that has a lighting issue. When the engine is running, all lighting, interior and exterior have a constant strobe effect. It's still drivable at night but it's hard on the ol' eyeballs. All the dash lights, radio, everything strobes. When the engine is cut off, everything works fine. Could someone help me? It's about drove us nuts. Thanks

Probably the voltage regulator, have the alternator checked.

It's easy to change, on most MB's can be done with the alternator in place, BUT I'm not guaranteeing it's the problem. 90% sure it is.
