1987 560SEL Alarm System - Where is it?
Can someone please tell me where the alarm is on the 560SEL 1987. Its not working properly and I want to disconnect it (dont need it here in Delaware).
On the same type note- Is there any website/place for info where you can easily find the part you are looking for - kind of like "560SEL For Dummys". I'm pretty mechanically inclined but on this car there are too many new things that I am not familiar with. I have the Benz CD set but I am more so looking for something better. Are there any manuals I can buy somewhere just for this car or type of car? Thanks! Lance

Alarm module in under a plastic false bottom/firewall of the passenger side footwell, under the carpet.
