New bulbs

I think my rear door window switches used to be illuminated when I had the light switch turned on. I have a '95 E320. Anyone know how to remove the switch to replace the bulbs in the rear door switches? Also, what bulb does it take?

Before you take anything apart, have you checked to make sure that the window lockout switch (in your center console) isn't turned off? When you do lock out the rear window switches, the lights in the switches go off, too.

You are so right! That's exactly what the problem was. I wondered how they would both go out at the same time! Thanks.

Been there, done that!

When you think of it, kind of clever that the engineers must have figured that, if the window switches are locked out anyway, no reason to light them up! (or maybe there's just no juice sent to window motors or switch lighting...)
