'85 500 SEL with screaming belt - help!

I have a 1985 500 SEL with a screaming pully belt. There are two sagging belts - one sags about an inch, the other about 3/4 inch - connected to a lower pulley and to a pump (LEENKHELFPUMPE TYP 34). I've been able to loosen three 13 mm nuts on the pump - two are located in a vertical line on the left side of the pump, and one - which tightens down on a slotted flange - on the right side of the pump. But I still can't move the pump! Is there something else I need to do to tighten these belts? Thanks!
