How to replace alternator on 92 mod 300 ce w124?

My alternator went bad yesterday.
New one is ordered(pick up today)and my mecanick is out of town until Tuesday.
I guess i have to do it myself.
Is it bolt on?where do i adjust the belt???etc
Any info would be helpful.
