Slide Valve Question [idle control valve]
I put a slide valve off of my 85 380se on to my 90 420sel. It has worked great except that every now and then the car will just die. Like you just turned the key off. It runs great other than that. And it might not happen at all for 100miles or at 5 miles out it will happen. Idle is perfect other than that. I know thw part number is different but I made it fit tight on the pipes so air leak is not it ohm value is very close. Mabe slide distance is different. Help Thanks

Every idle system componet on those 2 cars are different!
Parts aren't interchangable.
