Manual shifter housing bushings.
Has anyone tired these:

To fix this? Or would someone recommend just sticking with the factory bushings? Are there other alternatives?

Tinker, I bought that kit from Delsing Motorsports but have yet to install it in my 16v yet. I'll let you know when I do it, send me your email. I know you sent me an email asking about 16v trans #'s before but I think I deleted it.

i have!
I got the kip from MRP....it also has a short straight rod as well. with the brass bushes and the shortened rod it was a little to racey for me...I ended up using the brass bushes but the stock rod. its a nice conversion, makes the gear changes "notchy" and precise... PITA to fit though as the entire mechanicsm needs to be removed and stripped down. worth it though. HTH....Steve
