W211 Muffler water leak
Hi all,
Buddy of mine has an '04 E320, chassis 211, with 11 K on the odo. Both mufflers have what appears to be water leaking, along the "seams" which eventually drips onto the garage floor. The resulting puddle on the right side is about the size of the palm of my hand. Left side is considerably less. The car was run for for just a few miles today, say 5 or maybe less. Is this because the car has so much condensation in the mufflers and isn't burning off and is therefore leaking? Could that large an amount of condensation cause this? ![]() Thanks in advance, Deezl '83 300 D |
