600 SEL 140 1992 Base Module
Hi all,
This is a non starter. It was running when it was parked up about 6 months ago. There is no supply to the injectors etc. It seems that the base module is not being powered up. I only have a partial wiring diagram for the Base module and very little experience with these V12's so am not familiar with the system. If I am correct the Base modiule should power the two LH modules, injectors etc. What I am not clear about is what should power the base module. KOEO, only one of the four fuses has power. from memory I think all four should be live. The big terminal at the base module has power. When i removed the Base module there were signs of water ingress. I opened it and could find very little wrong with it except a few dry looking joints which I repaired. Before I order a new module I would like to check any supplies and earths. I run WIS but this is too old for my version. Can anyone advise of of what supplies to check? On the key for the piece of the diagram that I have it mentions an overvoltage relay. Can anyone tell me if the module energises the OVP or if the OVP supplies the module? Also, does anyone know where the OVP relay is located? Many thanks in advance. Alan |
