1982 380SEL / Repair Manual???

I recently aquired a 1982 380SEL Mercedes that is in excellent condition with only about 75,000 true miles on it......I love this car.

I am currently looking for a repair manual for it.......Almost everything works in the car at the moment.......However I want to buy a decent repair manual in case anything goes wrong, I am good with mechanics and actually like the challange of fixing stuff myself....Id like a book like the Hayes, or chiltons type guides or somthing comparable.......I cannot seem to find anything at local car parts stores, or at the local book stores.

Can anyone give me a link, or info on ordering a decent Mercedes guide for my model? I have heard somthing about repair software on cds......Can anyone tell me about these, also, why are these disks so expensive?
