A slight clicking noise is heard when the car is put in reverse and the breaks are applied as you reverse. Had my local benz mechanic take a look and they validated that indeed a noise was heard. It is hard for them to validate unless they open up the tranny. They suspect the torque converter.
Had negative experiences in the past on opening up transmissions and would rather avoid it. The car only has 93K miles on it and I have owned it for less than a year. Is there any other way to further investigate what the problem might be? Thanks, CM |
