![]() ![]() it's so sad... every day, i get ready for school, hop into my beloved 300e and back it out of the driveway, pull out, stop, put her into drive... and wait... and wait...and wait. it takes so long to get her to go!! and that's not the only problem... sometimes, after stopping at a signal, i'll push the accelerator... for a fraction of a second, everything's normal and then suddenly... she drops into the lowest gear ever, she slows down, and the rpm skyrockets! and each time this happens, the only way for me to resolve the issue is to put her in neutral, pull over, stop, and try again! there's more but it's much harder to explain. i need help. i have very little money, and the parents aren't very willing to help out. i love this car so much and i really want to get it back into shape. any advice whatsoever would be greatly appreciated. thanks. |

You have the classic symptoms of a B2 piston failure. First check the transmission fluid level, if it’s low added fluid then test drive the car, if you still have the delay engagement remove the pan and check for excessive metal and clutch material. If you find that the pan is clean, no excessive material, change the filter and check the B2 servo.
