Timing Belt

Ok guys,
My dealer tells me to get the Timing Belt replaced. It is making a sqeeky noise when i start her.

Does anyone know how much would it cost me?

Year and model please. Mercedes don't have timing belts, they use chains. Was the dealer referring to the serpentine belt perhaps?

Assuming you have a S320, there is no timing belt on this car.
Again assuming....the serpentine belt costs approx. $50.00 + one hour of labour to replace it.

I suggest finding another mechanic.

How many miles are on the car? You probably need to take a close look at the belt tensioner too.

Hello Guys,
The car is 1995 S 320 with 120K on it. When i turn the engine on, i hear sqeeqy noise like a belt is making. Do i really dont have a timing belt/chain then? Any ideas..
