Are these transmissions interchangeable?
Lucky me, I have joined the group of members you have had our reverse gears bite the dust.
 Are ’93 transmissions interchangeable with ‘94-’95 tranny’s? All three years have the M104 engine, so my thinking is that they are. Anyone know for sure?Thanks.

Sorry, It is a 722.369 in the 300E. When I look up the VIN this is what I get:
300E Engine 104992 12 021099 Transmission 722369 03 855585 E320 Engine 104992 12 059219 Transmission 722369 04 000842 So I am 90% sure that the are interchangeable, I just not sure what the numbers after 722369 mean.
