Tapping noises

Welcome all new boy in here so hope somebody can help .

I am getting a tapping sound from my front wheel at low speeds my mechanic checked it out and he cant fault it

maybe we have some very wise men or women in the forum who can help .

I thank you in anticpation cheers

Car is a c220 diesel 1994 133000 miles
