Did the front brakes yesterday and now I’ve got electrical gremlins.
Did the front brakes yesterday and now I’ve got electrical gremlins. One of the little insulators that plugs into the pad came off of one of the wires so I just reinserted the wire itself, but I can’t imagine how these issues are related.
First the electric fan started to function. The car never gets too hot so I’d never noticed, but suddenly the fan is working when the car is at normal operating temperature. A little buzz is emanating from the emergency flasher switch – goes away when the switch is depressed. Crazy stuff Where can I see how to remove the console – want to replace the shift boot, and the under dash panels – blower motor is loosened up. Thanks

Unrelated issues
Sometines there are multiple problems. Those wear indicators on the pads come out for install and just push back in. Regarding the fan, I had a similar problem and found one of the temp sensors was shot. Replaced it in a few minutes and the fan was back to normal. I have replaced my hazzard switch as well but do not know why it would buzz. Best of luck...

I agree. It sounds like a coincidence. Now you know how mechanics feel when they get blamed for something the breaks the day after they work on a car (assuming they didn't actually bust it) !
