I just bought a set of sheepskin seat covers for my 1980 450sl.They seem to be of good Quality, although I would perfer they not be made in communist china. My problem is that there are no instructions with them. And no precut holes. For the tilt leaver recline knob and the headrest stalks. Is this normal. Also none of my books show me how to remove the headrest.I have to get them out to start fitting the covers.Help.Thanks Michael

sheepskin seat covers
Got my sheepskins in New Mexico. Great quality and had proper holes for adjustments and headrest. The old ones didn't but it was no problem to poke a couple of holes. To remove headrest there is a button to depress in line with the metal headrest support rod and about 3-5 inches down the back of the seat. this "secret" button presses towards the center console at the inside (closest to center console) support post. Press through the seat material and pull-up on the headrest.
