My in dash 6 disc CD changer is not recognizing when a CD is in the 6 CD cassette. I have tried all 6 CD slots in the cassette. The cassette lines up and goes in fine. There are no visible broken pieces inside, as viewed from the cassette door. After installing the cassette, the CD player attempts to locate the CD by moving up, 1 slot at a time, however, no tray is ever slid in and out into the laser eye. I have tried 2 different CD’s.

Additionally, I have the following problems related to the steering wheel computer controls:
- The outside temperature always reads 185F,
- The only steering wheel controls that work is the volume controls, preventing entry into many of the vehicle’s options.

Lastly, with all of the mods in this car, I will always have a check engine light and an SRS light. SRS light is due to removing the air bag. Apparently, the sensors have been removed for the custom intercooler installation.
