W124 hesitation and back fire..YEEE HAWW

Hey,

Anyone tell me what to look into when my 1995 e320 Wagon with 76k backfires and hesitates on pushing of the pedal?

Could be a bad engine wiring harness, coil wire boots, throttle actuator, mass air meter, or vacum leak.

...or plugs (as was the case with mine, years after the harness was replaced).
