96 E320 remote cr*p advice needed.
My wifes car a 1996 E320 Avantgarde W210 model, the remote has always been temperamental and now has taken it upon itself to pack up every now and then, plus the range is rubbish you have to be right next to the car and have a clear line of sight so the remote can see the mirror.
I have reset the remote as stated in the manual, replaced the batteries numerous times and it is still the same. Is there a proper fix or is it to the merc dealer?. Any help would be really appreciated. Lynall
